OpenCode Remote

Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-21.1 · English original

These terms govern the free use of OpenCode Remote, a browser-based companion for the OpenCode service running on the user's own computer. By using the app you accept these terms.

1. The service

OpenCode Remote is a free open-source client. It does not provide AI models, compute capacity, a terminal, a shell or a hosted copy of your OpenCode sessions. OpenCode and the configured AI provider run on your computer and remain subject to their own terms and costs.

2. Your responsibility

You are responsible for your computer, OpenCode configuration, provider credentials, projects, prompts, files and any action you approve through the app. Keep your recovery code and paired devices secure. Do not use the app to access systems or data without authorisation.

3. Relay and availability

The relay is a blind transport for end-to-end encrypted frames. It is provided on a reasonable-effort basis, without a service-level guarantee. The app may be unavailable during maintenance, network failures or upstream incidents. The relay does not store conversations.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the relay, attempt to access another user's agent, distribute malware or use the service in violation of applicable law. The open-source licence applies to the software; these terms do not limit rights granted by that licence.

5. No warranty and liability

The app is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, guarantees and mandatory statutory liability is unlimited. For simple negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage caused by breach of an essential obligation.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the app or the law changes. The current version is always available at this address. Questions: support@fier-app.de.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection law remains unaffected.
