OpenCode Remote
Privacy Notice
Version 2026-10-21.1 · English original
This notice explains what OpenCode Remote processes when you use the website and the app. The controller is Fier-App, Alaimo Aleandro, Grabenstrasse 6, 45888 Gelsenkirchen, Germany, support@fier-app.de.
1. What stays on your computer
OpenCode sessions, messages, tool output, files, credentials and AI-provider data remain on your computer and are controlled by OpenCode. OpenCode Remote does not upload or store a copy of them. The relay forwards encrypted WebSocket frames and does not inspect them.
2. Data stored in your browser
The app uses localStorage for technical settings, theme, language, the paired-device token and the cookie-notice preference. The service worker caches the app shell for offline start and updates. You can remove these data through your browser settings; this may require pairing the device again.
3. Relay and hosting
The app and relay are hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as IP address, timestamps, requested paths and frame sizes to deliver the service, prevent abuse and investigate faults (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The relay does not store chats. Cloudflare may set technical security cookies such as __cf_bm and cf_clearance; they are not used for advertising or profiling.
4. Push notifications
If you enable push notifications, the browser creates a subscription and the agent on your computer stores it. Notifications are sent through your browser vendor's push service with an encrypted payload. You can withdraw permission in browser settings; the subscription is then removed.
5. Retention
The relay keeps no conversation data. Technical infrastructure logs are retained only as long as needed for security and fault investigation. Browser storage remains until you delete it. Push subscriptions are removed when permission is withdrawn or delivery is permanently invalid.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may complain to the competent supervisory authority, in particular the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen. Data controlled by your employer or another OpenCode operator must be requested from that controller.
7. No analytics
OpenCode Remote does not use advertising analytics or behavioural marketing trackers.
