Version 2026-10-10.3 · English original
These Terms govern use of Fier-Worship by churches, worship teams and similar organizations, and by the users they authorize. The offer is directed at organizations acting in an organizational capacity. Where mandatory consumer-protection law applies, it remains unaffected. Individual written agreements prevail over these Terms.
The provider is Fier-Worship, Alaimo Aleandro, Grabenstrasse 6, 45888 Gelsenkirchen, Germany; support@fier-app.de. The contract consists of the selected plan, these Terms, the DPA and the Privacy Notice. Acceptance records the timestamp and document version. The privacy acknowledgement is not a blanket GDPR consent.
Fier-Worship provides SaaS functions for organizing a worship team: calendar and events, team and role management, songs with chords (ChordPro), setlist planning, a reader mode for musicians, a stage display for projection, chat, notifications and offline use as an installable web app, subject to the selected plan and technical availability. Supported imports include PDF files that the Service structures into songs; the Service may reject files that fail format, size, integrity or malware checks. The Service is a tool: it does not grant any licence or rights to third-party songs, lyrics or chord sheets. We may improve the Service provided that its agreed core functionality is not materially reduced.
The Service assists with organizing a worship team; it does not replace professional, musical or pastoral judgement. Automatic import, text extraction, chord recognition and transposition may contain errors: always check the result before using it in a service. No guarantee is given for the accuracy, completeness or availability of imported or generated content.
The customer is responsible for lawful use, authorized users, account credentials, the content entered (including songs, lyrics, setlists and messages), accurate data, information to team members, instructions to Fier-Worship and any legal basis required for member or content data. The customer must hold any licences required for the songs it uses (for example CCLI or equivalent) and must not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe third-party rights. The customer must keep its own export and continuity arrangements appropriate to its risk.
Leaders sign in with an authenticator app and one-time recovery codes; members with a device-bound key. The customer is responsible for protecting these credentials, for storing the recovery codes safely and for removing access of people who leave the team. Leader accounts require the person to be at least 16 years old.
The customer retains all rights to the content it enters. It grants Fier-Worship the limited technical permission to store and process that content solely to provide the features in use. Content whose processing would violate the law or third-party rights must not be entered.
For customer-controlled personal data, the customer is controller and Fier-Worship processor. The DPA is required for that processing. Information about religious belief or activity may be special-category data; the customer must not enter such data without an applicable Art. 9 GDPR condition and must not instruct Fier-Worship to process special-category data without a documented instruction.
The public catalogue consists of a free plan (“Team”) with all core features but limited capacity — currently up to 10 active members and up to 50 accessible songs; export and the pad library are reserved to the paid plan — and a paid plan (“Church”) at €6.90 per month or €69 per year, payable via PayPal. The paid plan removes the member and song limits and adds the listed Pro features.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until cancelled through PayPal or the account settings. A payment activates the paid plan only after server-side verification. If an outcome is pending or uncertain, the customer must not submit another payment and should allow verification or contact support. A refund, reversal or payment dispute may suspend the paid capacity pending manual reconciliation; operational data are not deleted for that reason.
All statutory taxes are treated as shown in the invoice and under applicable tax law. In accordance with § 19 UStG, no value-added tax is charged and therefore no value-added tax is shown. Late-payment rights remain unaffected. Prices may change with prior notice; changes do not affect an already-paid period.
We operate the Service with reasonable technical care but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned or necessary maintenance, Internet failures, third-party services and circumstances outside our control may cause interruptions. The customer must promptly report security incidents and protect its accounts.
At the end of a paid period, the account returns to the free plan capacity described in section 6; data are preserved, and content beyond the free limits is locked until the customer upgrades or renews. Either party may otherwise terminate according to the selected plan or applicable law. Before closure, the customer may request return of customer-controlled data through the available export/support process and then instruct deletion as set out in the DPA. After termination, data are deleted except for legally required retention, a documented legal hold and documented backup cycles. Default technical retention periods are described in the Privacy Notice; no blanket indefinite archive is created.
Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, guarantees and mandatory statutory liability is unlimited. For simple negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage and only for breach of an essential contractual obligation. These limits apply to the extent permitted by German law.
We may update these Terms for valid reasons, including legal, security or service changes. Material changes will be notified in advance where practicable. Continued use after a required re-acknowledgement is governed by the displayed new version; the customer may terminate if it does not accept a material change.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If the customer is a merchant, legal entity under public law or special fund under public law, Gelsenkirchen is the exclusive venue where legally permitted. The English version is the contractual original; mandatory law of the customer’s country remains unaffected.
