Version 2026-10-14.1 · English original
These Terms govern use of Fier-Cashbook, a web application for keeping a simple cash book (income, expenses, accounts, cash counting, reminders and item loans). It is directed at clubs, associations, parishes, families and similar users. Where mandatory consumer-protection law applies, it remains unaffected. Individual written agreements prevail over these Terms.
The provider is Fier-Cashbook, Alaimo Aleandro, Grabenstrasse 6, 45888 Gelsenkirchen, Germany; support@fier-app.de. The contract consists of the selected plan, these Terms, the DPA and the Privacy Notice. Registration records the timestamp and document version of the acceptance. The privacy acknowledgement is not a blanket GDPR consent.
Fier-Cashbook provides SaaS functions for keeping a cash book: recording income and expenses across one or more accounts, internal transfers, per-account balances, cash counting with reconciliation, a yearly summary, reminders and item loans, guest read-only links and an Excel export, subject to the selected plan and technical availability. We may improve the Service provided that its agreed core functionality is not materially reduced.
The customer is responsible for lawful use, for the accuracy of the data entered, for keeping its own exports and backups appropriate to its risk, and for any legal basis required for personal data of third parties that it enters (for example names in reminders or item loans). The customer must not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe third-party rights.
Accounts are created after verifying the email address with a one-time code sent by email; the administrator additionally receives a TOTP secret for an authenticator app and one-time recovery codes. The customer is responsible for protecting these credentials, for storing the recovery codes safely and for not sharing access. Accounts require the person to be at least 16 years old.
The customer retains all rights to the content it enters. It grants Fier-Cashbook the limited technical permission to store and process that content solely to provide the features in use. Content whose processing would violate the law or third-party rights must not be entered.
The Privacy Notice describes what personal data we process and why. Where a customer enters personal data of other people (for example its treasurer or members in reminders), the customer is controller and Fier-Cashbook is its processor; the DPA applies to that processing.
The public catalogue consists of a 14-day free trial with full functionality and of a paid plan at €0.99 per month or €9.99 per year, payable via PayPal.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period until cancelled through PayPal or the account settings. A payment activates the paid plan only after server-side verification. If an outcome is pending or uncertain, the customer must not submit another payment and should allow verification or contact support.
All statutory taxes are treated as shown in the invoice and under applicable tax law. In accordance with § 19 UStG, no value-added tax is charged and therefore no value-added tax is shown. Late-payment rights remain unaffected. Prices may change with prior notice; changes do not affect an already-paid period.
We operate the Service with reasonable technical care but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned or necessary maintenance, Internet failures, third-party services (for example Cloudflare, PayPal or our email provider) and circumstances outside our control may cause interruptions. The customer must promptly report security incidents and protect its accounts.
At the end of a paid period the register becomes read-only as described in section 6; data are preserved. Either party may otherwise terminate according to the selected plan or applicable law. Before closure, the customer may export its data with the built-in Excel export or request return through support, and then instruct deletion as set out in the DPA. After termination, data are deleted except for legally required retention and documented backup cycles. Default technical retention periods are described in the Privacy Notice; no blanket indefinite archive is created.
Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, guarantees and mandatory statutory liability is unlimited. For simple negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage and only for breach of an essential contractual obligation. These limits apply to the extent permitted by German law.
We may update these Terms for valid reasons, including legal, security or service changes. Material changes will be notified in advance where practicable. Continued use after a required re-acknowledgement is governed by the displayed new version; the customer may terminate if it does not accept a material change.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If the customer is a merchant, legal entity under public law or special fund under public law, Gelsenkirchen is the exclusive venue where legally permitted. The English version is the contractual original; mandatory law of the customer’s country remains unaffected.
